A proud graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration, providing a solid foundation for his work in public and organizational policy. With over 15 years of leadership experience, Darius has a proven track record of developing impactful EDI strategies and collaborating with leaders at all levels—from government officials to CEOs—to deliver people-centered programming and policies. His influence includes serving as Chair of the City of Markham’s Race Relations Committee, Co-Chair of UNHCR Canada’s Young Leaders Committee, and Director and EDI Chair at Carefirst Seniors. Darius also advises York Regional Police on the Community Advisory Committee for Racial Equity and supports the Canadian Youth Champions as an advisor.
